Hey, I'm Lauren-rebecca, 20 year old fashion styling and creative direction student.
I started AspireDesire in September 2014 to share my style and beauty opinions - even to try give some advice.
Blogging really began to interest me when I started researching how to get onto my university course - Fashion styling BA Hons. This sparked my idea about sharing my aspirations and desire for making my dreams a reality, hence AspireDesire was created.
Cracking the fashion industry is definitely a struggle; I was able to get my first job within retail, which greatly boosted my confidence and pushed me to start speaking out and voicing my opinions.
Travelling to South Africa each December/January has also opened me up to the world and how diverse the fashion industry really is. I had the most amazing opportunity to work on the recent PayPal - New Money advert whilst visiting my sister in 2015, working in the wardrobe department as wardrobe assistant on the final day of filming for the crowd street scene.
I hope to inspire others through my blogging and university work.
